DAD HERE: The medical team here in Utah and out in Ohio both became our second family…and we would greet our primary nurses with “Hi Aunite(Uncle) Ashley”. I was able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, it was a life saver! I was able to concentrate on Zariah and not worry about meals, or sleeping on a hospital couch, and they did so much for our family! For insurance, we have private insurance which has been a life saver!!! But going from 2 incomes down to one, and with my wife taking much time off of work it has not been easy. We have had amazing help from the community, and especially our neighbors and friends. They have helped with everything from yard work, snow removal while I was away, all the way down to meal trains while we were at Primary’s for 10 months before heading to Ohio for the last 2.5 years. The combination of our Medical Teams, with Prayers combined are what got us through this long tough journey. We do have a gofundme set up to help us with Zariah’s transition home if anyone is wanting to help it is:
